Our Approach
'There are many places that you can bless but only a few where you can build.'

In evaluating the many excellent projects that may need support, Grace Church endeavours to focus on: 
    - where we can build 
    - where there is a growing relationship 
    - people not buildings 
    - the poor 
    - pastors, in particular in pioneer church situations.
 
This ensures that we keep the focus on where we can be most effective, and do not dilute the resource we provide (even though it means we cannot take on board all the projects that are brought to our attention).
 
In practice we seek to:
    • Release Paul for ministry overseas. For many years Paul led the Missions team of Ground Level and was a Director of the Brazil
       Project supporting 90 pastors planting new churches in Amazonia, Brazil. His release to serve other leaders, churches and
       countries is part of Grace's ministry 'beyond these shores'. Poland has always been a first port of call.

    • Release ministry gifts within Grace to further support our links overseas and to encourage people to 'taste' overseas ministry. 
      Two of our young people have served on 'Year of your Life' at Hatfield Christian Church, Pretoria, South Africa.  This year-long
      discipleship course includes ministry into neighbouring countries. Short-term teams have also been sent out by Grace.

We have personal links with each of these projects.

Beyond These Shores
Our ministry to  "Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the uttermost parts of the earth".

'Jerusalem' - for us, this is west Wales and the church leaders that Paul supports in ministry across the UK.

'Judea'- includes the former communist Eastern Europe, Poland has always been the first port of call, Romania, Hungary and the Czech Republic, Serbia and Macedonia.

'Samaria'- southern Spain and Gibraltar - a good base for north Africa.

‘Uttermost parts of the earth'-  countries further afield.
